"A couple who participated in a potent medical experiment gain telekinetic ability and then have a child who is pyrokinetic." - IMDB
This is one of those movies that you may enjoy the book more than the film itself. But the film isn't too horrible either. I think it's the way the film started out that kind of sets it up to not give what the book gave to the readers. Overall, this is worth a watch at least once, mostly because Drew Barrymore has some good talent for the age she was in this film. And the other thing is that not too many films these days have good family dynamitcs for a horror film too. Kind of a rarity.
